| Wow been ages since i blogged. well its 12.30am so ill make it quick. finally got my hands onto a few movies. lets start.
What happens in Vegas: (6/10)
Despite crap reviews from IMDB, i actually quiet enjoyed this movie. wasnt bad, except predicatble story line. in end, good chick flick and practically makes my single life even harder. maybe i should go to vegas too...
Made of Honor: (7.5/10)
Seriously, sorry v, but i got talked to watcing this movie, but seriosuly, its one that id like to watch again!. absolutly loved it, but seirously, i derno why im enjoying so much chick flicks lately. Aniway, in a nutshell, My best Friends wedding reversed, some similarities some differences. Well at least its a movie that can be related by most guys thats fallen for their best friend (guilty party right here too). all in all a very enjoyable movie which ill prolly watch again!
Still to watch: IRON MAN
Seriously I have no idea why i still havent seen it yet, but im going to soon! aparrently been hearing its very good, almost Transformers like and transformers was fukin awesome. Also make sure u stay till the end of the credit

michelle monohan is STUNNING!.
Seriously, to me shes like a mix of Micha Barton & Kristen Kreuk with a tad of megan FOX!!!! very hot and stunning, and jus seems to have this chrisma and cuteness about her!

So its been almost 3 months, and ill be the first to admit, that i do miss you,
Ure ambitions, Ure persona, Ure advice, Ure friendship, Ure presence.
I think abt it every day, what and when did it all go wrong? how did we get to this errie silence between us? i dont even remember and if i do, i wouldn't want to know.
I saw you a few months back. and i have to say you looked stunning. I literally froze for seconds, tunnel vision focused on u and u only, my surroudings become a blur but the sight of you was as clear as crystal. I stood there thinking, wow, you'd have to be a real lucky guy to even be close to some one like that... some one i used to be.
Its become a struggle every day without your company. Its been a struggle not to dial your number. Its been a struggle to not think abt you, and it gets harder every day.
almost 6yrs down the track, how did this happen? 6yrs down the track, i believed so truely that nothing can and will tear us apart, even if the three of broke (which inevitably happened) i believed that i will still stand by you. Come to think about it, how did WE let this happen?
So its been almost 3 months, and usually i would of called long before. But this time i decided to wait a little longer, hoping that U might call. My phone remains dead to the day.
I guess our friendship didnt mean so much after all.

Today was one of the most astounding days I have had in a long time.
One of the things I had to do for work was to observe a retreat day at
a catholic college in London (college in London is for students aged
16-18). The day involved a: Catholic mime artist, two monks and just
some catholic preachers.
One
big thing that stood out to me when looking at the timetable for the
day was the “say YES to Sex” talk, which would be presented by a MONK.
Can you believe, a celibate monk who has devoted a part of his life to
not having sex was telling students to say YES to sex? Well I couldn’t
believe it, and it turned out that the title was totally misleading
anyway. All the students were packing in and you could see their
excitement, and amusement, because of the topic and who it would be
given by.
So the Monk stood at the front and began to talk
about, how sex is something special, something you do for God, how God
likes sex and wants all his children to have sex (sounds pretty
perverted?) and reproduce, and how when having sex you should be
devoted to the person you are having sex with.
Well, so far it
was OK, I mean whether I agreed with what he said so far is besides the
point, the point is that a lot of the students were awkwardly sinking
in their seats in obvious shame because they had most probably had one
night stands or had sex with someone for exploration or just for the
fun of it! But anyways, it was good how he outline that when having sex
you should be responsible and do it to someone you’re devoted to.
So,
this Monk continued his talk, and went on to what is WRONG about sex
and sexual desires. He spoke about STDs and Teenage pregnancy, things
that should be told to teenagers who have sex. But then he went on to
speak about the three biggest sins according to him and the teachings
of the catholic religion:
- “Ok, even though I have said to you
that sex is good, there are some things you should not do while having
sex, for example, you should not use any form of contraception when
having sex, it would be like shaking someone’s hand while they were
wearing a rubber glove, you get no feeling, no love, (…what the fuck?)
And where would be the fun and the devotion in having sex while using a
condom?”
- “Also, you should not masturbate, God does not like
those who masturbate, they are selfish and aren’t willing to give
themselves to another but keep themselves for themselves, and use their
hands to pleasure themselves rather than to pleasure another”

pornography is foul, when you watch pornography you aren’t seeing all
there is to sex you are only seeing the physical act, you see no love”
I
was literally gob smacked, at how it was allowed for a monk to stand
there and tell students not to use contraceptives, when it is obvious
that they’re all screwing each other.
Now I’m not
underestimating these students and not suggesting that they are so weak
minded that they would all believe in this and stop using
contraceptives, but there are some who definitely would. Some would get
scared of “God” and think…crap; I shouldn’t be using a condom!
Also,
masturbation is a big deal amongst teenagers, it is something that
tends not to be spoken about, it’s embarrassing and awkward, yet they
all love doing it so much, and why shouldn’t they? In the end of the
day what each person does, he does to himself, and that monk had no
right to stand their and make them feel bad, or dirty, because of
things they did.
Finally, about the pornography thing, does this
monk guy not realise that the only reason anyone watches porn is to get
off to it? Nobody cares if there’s no love, BECAUSE THAT’S THE POINT!
No one sits in front of a porno and says: “Awww look at them making
love, its so beautiful… look at how in love they are!”
That talk
was a load of bollocks, and if anything on such a retreat day, they
should be showing students how OPEN and UP TO DATE they are, and how
accepting GOD is.
Having a talk about sex held by a man who is
celibate, who teaches not to masturbate and probably does it anyway,
was just really perverse.
I think one of the many reasons there
are that there is a growing number of atheists in this world, is
because of the stupidity that a lot of religions preach. It’s because
it seems that from talks like this religion holds no logic, and
religion is something “scary” and to be blunt quite stupid.
I am
not a catholic, and have no belief in this religion what so ever, if
people choose to believe in this religion then whatever, it’s each
individual’s choice. The point I am trying to make is that, it is
completely illogical to (even if the religion says to use no
contraception) stand and teach kids who are having sex not to use
contraception, and at the same time give talks on growing teenage
pregnancy rates and the spread of STDs.
It’s contradictory and just plain wrong.
So, to any teenagers reading:
Do
use contraception, continue to have wild sex, enjoy pornography and
masturbation to the max, with no fears of God or being punished. I am
not in any way condoning underaged teenage sex, i mean teenagers who
are lawfully allowed to have sex...
